  11. one-time Reference CD pricing to MARIAH users.  Send us your hard disk, in it's
  12. original packaging, and for only $299 we'll make a CD-ROM from it.  This
  13. process normally costs upwards of $600!  Remember, this is a one time offer
  14. available to MARIAH owners.  This is a great opportunity  to open up space on
  15. your hard disk, and yet still have instant access to your files.  It's like
  16. adding another 600 Mb drive to your system!

  18. The Details:
  19.  
  20. •  Data  should be on a  non-bootable, external, HFS formatted disk not
  21. containing a Mac system folder.
  22.  
  23. •  Make sure your data is in a  normal, valid HFS image, contained in a    sing
  24. partition - if your disk has more than one partition this must be the first
  25. partition.
  26.  
  27. •  The data on the disc must be contiguous and de-fragmented.  This is
  28. typically  accomplished by copying the data onto a  newly  formatted   disk
  29. before delivery to OMI.  If you have any questions just give us a  call.

  31. •  Maximum data size is 600 Mb - please include a listing of the exact byte
  32. count of the data on the disk.

  34. •  If your hard disk does not have an external SCSI selector, the SCSI ID  must
  35. be  a number other than 3.
  36. •  Call us for details on how to insure System 6 /System 7 compatibility   on t
  37. resultant CD-ROM.

  47. that provides you with a tracking number for your package.  Your disk will be
  48. returned to you freight collect via carrier of your choice.  Although every
  49. effort will be made to ensure safety during shipment, OMI cannot accept
  50. responsibility for any damages resulting in shipment to or from our offices.
